  • The strategy was made up of a SEM and SEO component. 

Given that the keyword list we needed to target was so broad, they were split into separate categories based on their search volume, current rankings and intent behind those search terms. 
This allowed us to priortise our campaign based on the keywords that were most likely to move the needle for ICMI early in the campaign, while keeping a close eye on their entire keyword profile. 
A large focus was placed on ranking the speaker categories with the largest search volume, and marry this with consistent blog article updates to target speakers for specific up and coming events.
This has resulted in consistent year on year growth for ICMI, with their non-branded impressions growing to nearly 10 million in the past 12 months, and increasing every 6 months.  

Google and Bing Ads were used to support the ongoing SEO work, delivering more high quality enquiries month on month.
Our campaigns were broken down by speaker category, location and separate campaigns focused on the biggest name speakers on ICMI’s roster.
